Skyeroo was an ancient spirit with incomprehensible power. She was the protector of the forest and all the creatures in it, but she took interest in one species in particular: the wolves. She found their behavior so intriguing that she decided to live amongst them. She took the form of a wolf herself deciding to explore their strange lifestyle and learn more about it. She was the most beautiful wolf in the forest and she had two great wings on her back. The wolves of the forest were amazed by her beauty, and accepted her as one of their own. She even found a mate amongst them. The forest she resided in soon became known as the Forest of Skyeroo.
Skyeroo was growing older and weaker in the form of a wolf. With the knowledge that she might soon die, she had a litter of pups so that they would carry on her works of protecting the Forest of Skyeroo. Each of Skyeroo's children had wings as beautiful as her own, along with a set of powers. Her daughter Layaoh was cunning and manipulative. She possessed the powers of electricity, air, and ghost. Wyspa was a peacemaker with a caring personality. She possessed the powers of plants, life, and water. Tourma was a wolf of order and structure. She possessed the powers of ice, snow, and sky. Skyeroo's son Aro was arrogant and believed in brute strength over intelligence. He possessed the powers of darkness, flame, and magma. Yanoak believed in kindness and peace. He possessed the powers of light, storm, and rock.
Over the years, the five siblings grew further apart as their ideologies grew more different from one another. The sibling rivalry tore the forest apart into five different alliances. The Wyspan wolves, the Tourman wolves, the Aroan wolves, the Layaoan wolves, and the Yanoakan wolves. The siblings gained followers and formed five different packs, each one moving to a secluded territory where they would need not worry about one another. However, as the packs grew in population, they became overcrowded, and prey became scarce. An era of chaos arose as the packs fought to the death for the best hunting grounds. It went on for thirty long years until Skyeroo had had enough of the senseless war, so she placed a curse on her children, binding them as prisoners to five secluded caves in a far away land. They became immortal, destined to spend eternity in the caves away from the rest of the forest.
Skyeroo united the forest once again, that all wolves would live peacefully and harmoniously together again, but the tension between different alliances lingered, and the teachings of the five siblings left a mark on the forest for good. When Skyeroo died, the ideologies of each sibling returned, and slowly packs began to form again. Wolves would venture out in search of the five caves, so that the legendary winged wolves would bless their loyal followers with their own pair of wings and a set of powers, to create their own packs and carry on their legacy.
